Good news for Lume Luxe lovers!

Several months ago I lamented the end of the Lume Luxe candle line at Target. These super-premium candles (very similar to Jo Malone's, shown here) came in unique scents named after exotic locales like "San Tropez" and "Santorini" and were made with fancy ingredients like Frangipani, Olive leaves, French Lavender. It looked as if Target had sold off the rest of the stock by early Summer, and several of you wrote me to complain (as I had!) that Target would eliminate such a beloved product line.

Well, my friends, Target may actually have heard our shouts of outrage... because guess what I found on the store shelf today? One Lume Luxe candle with the simple title of "Love". Love - encased in the signature glass jar nestled in a burgundy and silver gift box - is described as such:

"Get swept off your feet with a scent that evokes the timeless essence of your true love. A dazzling blend of mouthwatering blackcurrants, luscious plum, and sweet melon meld with notes of sensual jasmine".

I was immediately smitten with "Love" (the fragrance is AMAZING) and quickly scanned the aisles for any more Lume Luxe, but alas, this was the one and only. I intend to scour my other local Targets this coming week for additional stock, and I am encouraged by the price-tag/barcode which stated "Made in Canada for Target, 2009" (meaning it is NEW stock and not just something leftover from last year).

Is this the same brand that makes the Black Fig candles and I think Black Pearl? I can't find the Black Fig at all...so sad!

V, I'm not sure; I haven't heard of the "Black Fig" or "Black Pearl" scents before. But if I happen to see them at Target, I'll let you know!

There is actually 3 scents for this new Lume Luxe candles, Friendship (Honey and Peach), Passion (Freesia and Sandlewood) and Love (Jasmine and Black Currant). They come in the larger 10oz and a box set of all three (2.2 oz each). They all smell great, like all Lume Luxe candles, but my favorite is Friendship. They were displayed with other Valentine stuff, so they might not restock after they are sold.

Okay, did some research and I guess the Black Fig scent is from Chesapeak Bay Candle, but on their website, it looks nothing like the candles I've purchased from Taret. The ones I've purchased look like the Lume Luxe line you have pictured...I'm confused! All I know is I can't find the Black Fig at any Target anymore.

I was in Target the other day and noticed the Lume Luxe candles are back! They have great fragrances: Black Amber (which I think was Morocco), Ocean Sea Salt (which I think was Santorini), Blackberry Cream (which smells like Tahiti), Wild Herb (delicious!) and White Fig. They smell so good! My favorite is the 3-wick candle. It's more expensive, but it makes my ENTIRE HOUSE smell great! I get compliments from everyone!!!!

Hi, I also love the Lume Luxe line. I purchased the Vanilla & Cinnamon candles in the mercury glass like holders for half price $6.50 after Christmas this week. They had another I think was Clove & Lavender?

Lume Luxe made a White Fig candle, and it was my favorite (several of you mentioned looking for a Black Fig...wonder if you meant White Fig? Or if they made a White and a Black variety?) Anyway, I like the new Lume Luxe candles when I smelled them, but if anybody at Lume Luxe or Target is listening, please oh please bring back White Fig! It was so nice!
