Tips for bargain-hunting at Target

Here’s a helpful article on how to find items on clearance at Target. A lot of these tips were already familiar to me, such as browsing the aisle endcaps for bargains. One new nugget of information, however, was the “daily markdown schedule”, outlining Target’s system for marking down their merchandise.

It’s also rumored that there’s a “secret code” to Target’s famous red clearance stickers. If you look up in the right top corner of those red stickers, you'll find a teeny-tiny number: 15, 30, 50, or 75. Those numbers supposedly equal the percent off the item. I checked it out the other day while at the store, and sure enough, the formula seems to ring true.
