On the heels of the Diane von Furstenburg lawsuit I wrote about the other day, I’ve discovered that Target is also in the bullseye (pun intended) by the trendy Hollywood clothier Kitson. In a complaint filed in December, Kitson claims that Target manufactured and sold cheap knockoffs of footwear usually found at the high-priced Robertson Blvd. boutique.
This seems like it’s becoming a pattern. In addition to these two complaints, Andre Agassi also filed a trademark lawsuit back in September alleging that Target Corp. sold over 52,000 pairs of sandals plastered with his name without his permission.
