In a small gesture towards sustainability, Target now produces a gift card made entirely out of bioplastic. This material has similar properties to regular plastic but is composed primarily of corn and is biodegradable, high-grade, and environmentally-friendly. I’m not sure if all their gift cards (they have many designs) are made of this eco-conscious material, but it’s a start!
