Consumer Alert: Target recalls lasagna pans

Target is recalling nearly 150,000 Giada de Laurentiis brand lasagna pans due to a laceration hazard. The cream-colored pans are 9 by13 inches in size and they were sold individually and as part of a six-piece set.  The bottom of the pan is stamped "Giada de Laurentiis for Target."

Target has received 39 reports of the pan or its handles breaking or cracking during normal use.  Cuts and lacerations were reported in six of those incidents. The pans were sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide and on Target.com from January 2009 through October 2012 for about $22 for individual pans and between $35 and $50 for the six-piece sets.
