Emma Roberts does not heart Target

Wannabee actress and aspiring fashionista Emma Roberts has gone on record in the latest issue of WWD to dismiss big-name Target designer collaborations like Isaac Mizrahi, Zac Posen, and Jean-Paul Gaultier as being "cheesy."

In the issue, 19-year-old Roberts - who just happens to be the daughter of Eric and niece of Julia - chats about her "obsession" with fashion, counting Alexander Wang, Miu Miu, and Dior among her favorite labels.

"I would like to be recognized for my style, because I love clothes," Roberts tells the paper, adding that she's inspired by both Audrey Hepburn and Sienna Miller.

However, Roberts also tells WWD that while she aspires to have her own clothing line someday, she wants to "do something in fashion that wouldn't be cheesy. I wouldn't do, like, Emma Roberts for Target."

Emma, maybe you should hone your acting skills a bit more and concentrate on building a career rather than riding your famous dad's and aunt's coattails.

Nice Chanel fake tat - guess that means you have great taste, Emma. But really she should take a tip from her Aunt Julia, who loves secondhand clothing.

wow, I hope that this comes back to bite her in the butt; it's nice that she loves clothes and wants to be a designer, but everyone has to start out somewhere. Mary Kay and Ashley had their line with Walmart (if that doesn't scream sophistication then I don't know what does) and what about those talented yet broke losers who have no choice but to appear on shows like Project Runway? Ugh, what an idiot.

The thing I love the most about this post is that she looks up to Audrey Hepburn. (who was the epitome of grace and ladyness and would never have ever said anything so damning like this)

Good luck, Emma. I hope that your star burns on forever and you can make a seemless and dignified transition into non-nickelodeon roles that do as well, if not better than, Hotel For Dogs.

K10, your comments made me LOL!
And hush: yeah, I was thinking the same thing about that Chanel logo tat. Classy...

Her comment was so snooty. I guess she has never heard of tact.

Princess Emma of Hollyweird doesn't taint herself with such common things as Target. Why, that's for the trailer trash! Princess Emma would die at the touch of synthetic fabrics and her delicate little nose couldn't tolerate the smell of popcorn coming from the snack area. She could never deign to shop for her own deodorant or tampons; that's what personal assistants, i.e. handmaidens, are for! She is special and therefore cannot ever enter any such establishments.

What a spoiled brat. I never liked Auntie Julia and now, I don't like her.
