has inked a deal with N.Y.-based Nanco Group to launch Paula Deen Foods later this year. The company was created to monitor product quality and expand on Deen’s products sold now at retailers like Target to include food offerings. Target already carriers an array of kitchen tools and dining products under the Paula Deen name.
“We are honored to take the Nanco generations of experience and bring our favorite recipes from our family to your own,” said Paula Deen in a statement. “Working with Nanco, we have generations of experience and knowledge from our most important partners – the grocery retailers that will enable us to bring the best value possible to those who love our recipes.”
