Some people are addicted to love. Others are addicted to drugs. I'm addicted to Target. Seriously....

Plaid: Yay or Nay?
As I wrote about a couple of months ago, I'm not so sure I can get on board with this season's craze for anything and everything plaid. In Nina Garcia's latest video on Target's StyleBoutique, she fully embraces this trend, predicting "you’ll see plaid in lots of silhouettes and colors this fall."
As with her last 2 videos, she makes her test subjects look super stylish and up-to-date. I just personally can't warm up to this trend, having lived through it once already in the early 1990's. What about you folks out there? Will you (or have you already) fallen "mad for plaid"?

I was all about plaid in the seventies preppy era--I lived in one of the towns listed in The Official Preppy Handbook. No thanks. It either looks too preppy, too grunge or too Dwight Shrute for me. The stuff in Target seems awfully Dwight-ish
I'm on the fence about plaid. I guess on waiting to find it on the right piece. I OD on the grunge plaid look in college and have a hard time getting that image out of my head- despite the updated looks. I think because there is so much of it out there, it makes me want to stay away from it. But I'll never say never :-)
I am totally doing the plaid thing again-I just have 3 well cut, nicely fitted shirts that I am rotating as part of my wardrobe. But really, plaid is a classic, so I don't have any problem that it is "trendy" again- it never really left.
BTW I did the grunge thing in high school and plaid still feels comfortable to me.
