Some people are addicted to love. Others are addicted to drugs. I'm addicted to Target. Seriously....

Clearance Alert: Erickson Beamon at Target
The Erickson Beamon jewelry collection (which I found rather garish) is now on sale at Target.com. This charm bracelet (shown at left) is now 30% off at $20.98 (down from $29.99) and most of the rest of the collection has been reduced by 30-50% as well.
Now from what I can tell, the line hasn’t budged an inch in stores. I keep seeing the same fully-stocked display in the jewelry case… so I think they’re going to need to discount the Erickson Beamon line even more if they’re ever going to clear it out!

Totally agree with you. I bought a few right when they came out because when the Target special lines are good - they are often very good and then very hard to find. This line was just so poorly made. Even if the jumble of stones and stuff isn't your taste, the stuff could have been made of better quality. The "gold" wasn't even metal - it was plastic. It was worse than the stuff I got when I was a little kid. I returned all about one black cuff. It was way over-priced. It should have always been in the $15-25 range, rather than $45-75.
Agree! The price doesn't matter. I wouldn't want to wear it.
Oh wow, Dale....since I didn't examine this line closely, I didn't realize it wasn't even made of metal! What a letdown!!
I actually loved everything I got- the prices were so good compared to Erickson Beamon's main line. I just love to accessories! I take my old clothes and with accessories make my outfits look new.... At those prices what do you expect. A friend of mine whose necklace broke sent it to the designers in New York from Erickson Beamon and the repaired it... They boost a life time guarantee
Randi, I understand what you are saying, but I work near the beads market in NY. In the stores there, they sell metal jewelery in similar styles as Erickson Beamon at the same prices or less than the plastic items of EB at Target. Not only the plastic settings, but sometimes the glue was on the "stone." But it can be done for less. The Dean Harris for Target line was very well done.
I'm glad some people got use of the line. I kept the black cuff, which I thought was the best of the lot and looks pretty great with a black dress. Pretty cool that they fixed the Target items.
Randi, that's amazing that Erickson Beamon fixed the broken item from the Target line. Now THAT impresses me!
And Dale: I do agree w/ you about the Dean Harris line. Very well made, quality materials, and my favority of Target's designer jewelry collaborations to date. In fact, I'm wearing two of the wooden bangles from the line today!
But you know that the designers don't make the products? they just design them and target manufactures the jewelry in their factories.... So if you have a problem with the quality it really is not the designers fault.... but accessories and fashion is a mater of opinion. I personally is am a big Erickson Beamon fan!
