Wednesday's Rave: Canada Dry Green Tea Ginger Ale

Today's rave is my new favorite warm-weather thirst quencher: Canada Dry's Sparkling Green Tea Ginger Ale. And the only place I've been able to find it thus far is my local Target store, which is why I'm featuring it here as a "rave".

I'll admit that I was dubious at first. Ginger ale? Injected with green tea? In a sparkling beverage, no less? But the taste is light, crisp, and refreshing, and the perfect thing to sip on a hot summer day. My only complaint is that there's 140 calories a can, which is the same as a can of Classic Coke. So until Canada Dry comes out with a diet version, I'll be sipping this soda sparingly.

There's diet green tea ginger ale available at Walmart in Framingham MA - labeled $2.99 a 12-pack on the shelf - but they're charging $18.75 for it at the register.

Walmart in Framingham MA has Canada Dry Diet Green Tea Ginger Ale on sale - they had it marked $2.99 on the shelf but were charging $18.75 at the register - so much for underpricing! I'll wait 'til it's on sale.

I live in Grand Blanc, Michigan and cannot find the regular Canada Dry Green Tea Ginger Ale anywhere. I prefer the 12 pack cans (not diet). Please help me.....
