Yet another reason to hate Target's new web site...

...as if we needed another one. My latest gripe? They're not updating their site in a timely manner. Case in point: it's Sunday Oct. 9th, yet Target still has last week's Weekly Ad posted (as documented in the screen grab at left). It's almost 9am here on the West coast, and noon in the East. Guess I'll have to visit an actual STORE to find out what's on sale this week.

I agree, the site is truly awful. It was an epic mistake to change their site platform and hosting pre-Missoni launch, and almost 4 wks later, their site is still HOBBLING along.

I never actually go on there, because I like the printed ad in the Sunday paper :)

The site is horrific. I can't log in, then I can, I can't find orders, I can't navigate well. It seems like they decided to provide less information about items than on the old site too. I'm staying far, far away. It's reminiscent of J. Crew's website update in 2008 and I think it took them well over a year to get it working well. Don't hold your breath.

I noticed that, too. I really hope they get it together soon. Blaming the Missoni launch on the website's trouble seems to me a reluctance to own up to the website's shortcomings publicly. It had problems before the launch and continues to after almost all the items are sold out online. Hopefully, they will have it straight my Black Friday/Cyber Monday or they are really gonna have some 'splainin to do. Would you believe the mobile app works much better for me than the full site? Wow. I love Target, but I hope they get it together.

I am so over the site too. I tried to purchase items from a sales email, and everything shows up as out of stock. Don't advertise a shoe, you no longer have stock of.
