The Gloss reports that designer
Isaac Mizrahi recently waxed nostalgic on his past partnership with Target with the following quote:
“The Target thing was not dumb at all. That was the smartest thing. I remember when I did my first show where I had, like, $3 things mixed with $3,000 things. I was going to call it ‘bipolar shopping disorder’ and the people at Target were like, ‘Oh. Could you call it something else?’”

I miss his stuff at Target. Several of the pieces were extremely well made and flattering. I had high hopes his work for Liz Claiborne, but I don't like the direction the brand is going. It's looking very cheap.
I loved his Target collection so much and hated to see him go, though I am happy that they still bring in so many great designers every year. I am in liberty addiction currently.

Hah! I love it: "bipolar shopping disorder." I may steal that for my new shopping blog name...
I love his poppy dresses. You can see Christie Brinkley wearing the print in "Uptown Girl". I have the dress and the skirt and find them beautifully made, durable, fresh. Thanks Isaac! I would have have owned these pieces otherwise.
