CL by Laundry at Target

With Target launching so many new designer lines lately, it's hard to keep track of them all. So I wasn't that surprised to find another name-brand offering simply by accident when perusing Target's web site. It looks like Target has a trendy new (albeit small) bag collection by "CL by Laundry". The line has been launched with virtually no fanfare, though, and they don't even have a press release out on it. By the name, I wasn't sure if this was associated with the "Laundry by Shelli Segal" line or not...and a quick web search proved not; instead, it is an offshoot of the budget shoe line Chinese Laundry. From the shopping site Endless.com, I found out that CL is "priced for the discriminating customer who's looking for the hottest trends. While definitely dress-oriented, CL by Laundry also introduces a bit of street-smart, casual attitude into its distinctive fashion mix. CL by Laundry appeals to the customer who's unabashedly edgy and young in spirit. She's got her own sense of style and her own unique scene -- as well as her own keen eye for what makes a standout statement."

Whatever CL is (and whomever it's designed by) most of the offerings are pretty darn cute...especially this polka dot hobo (pictured) and the patent-leather look clutch bags. And it's certainly WAY more attractive than the fugly Joy Gryson line recently introduced at Target.
