For a few years running now, Mossimo (at Target) has produced a line of sweaters and sweater dresses dubbed "Ultrasoft", and I used to be a fan. However, this year I've found the quality to be off. They're simply not as soft as they used to be, and they also seem thinner. This style in particular (shown here) seemed almost see-thru; I carried one around in this exact color in the store the other day, but decided to pass on it because of it's sheerness.
On the flipside: my Aunt absolutely loves these sweaters (especially the classic v-neck style) and has bought one in just about every color. What about you, readers? Are you a fan of this line, and if so, have you noticed that the quality is different?

I have to agree with you on the quality. I am really over the tissue paper sweaters and tanks. Not everyone wants to layer.
I usually buy one or two in every color in the cardigan style but this year I passed on them, at least so far:) I found that they get really pilly and look used/old pretty fast. We call them disposable sweaters at my house. The price on sale is usually so good that you can wear them a few times and then give them to goodwill.
I love them too! I have found the crewneck to be too boxy, but I like the V and open cardigan. I also lucked out last month and found one of this year's cowl necks in the store as an online return for $5! I haven't had a problem with any season's sweaters pilling, and the cowl doesn't seem to be any thinner than last year's. Maybe just certain styles were done in a thinner fabric?
Long time reader Target Addict, love your blog! I'm from MN and proud to have Target based here, I pass 3 stores every day on the way to work. Consider me fairly addicted as well. :) Happy Thanksgiving!
Have any of you dried them?
