Double-Take: Mossimo vs. DVF

It's time for another double-take, where we take one item from Target and match it up against a lookalike (and much pricier) designer piece. Kudos to The Budget Babe for first spotting this double-take, although her high-end option is from ShopBop, whereas I found mine at Bloomingdales.

Now one of these black sky-high wedge sandals is from legendary designer Diane Von Furstenberg, and costs a whopping $295 at Bloomingdales. The other is from Mossimo (at Target) and is considerably less at just $29.99. Which one is which? The answer appears in the comments section below.

The sandal on the left is the "Opal" by DVF, and the one on the right is the "Philomena" by Mossimo.

I think the left one is DVF - I see a zipper which means fancy in my world :)

well needless to say i ended up buying the target pair simply cuz i'm picky about the back end of shoes (i prefer them to be soft rather than breaking them in over days and days)

I love it when you do these posts! I prefer the angular toe of the target shoe.

I like the Target one better in this case. At first I thought the left was Target, because it seemed heavy.
