Todd Oldham's Kid Made Modern

With a career spanning more than 20 years, designer Todd Oldham has mastered every element of design, from gorgeous interiors and furniture to fashion, film, dorm-room décor, books and more. His passion for accessible art and the endless possibilities it can create is evident in his 2009 book, Kid Made Modern, a colorful DIY guide that gives children crafting confidence alongside history of mid-century artists.

And now, inspired by his own book, Todd has teamed up with Target to create the Kid Made Modern collection of art supplies and activity kits to give kids and parents fun - yet affordable - design tools, Available exclusively at Target, the inspirational collection (available May 20th) includes kid-approved supplies like crazy crayons, neon-printed ducktape, jewelry kits, art papers and more.

PS: Savvy Target shoppers will remember that this isn't the first collaboration Todd has done with the Bullseye. Way back in 2002, he created a "back-to-school" collection called "Dorm Room" aimed at college kids. Every once in a while, pieces from that collection show up on eBay, like this colorful wall clock.

I LOVE Todd Oldham! I know those products are aimed at kids, but I'd definitely buy the colored tape and jewelry kits for myself. Glad he's back at Target; I'd love to see a new line of home goods from him there as well.
