Boots turns back the clock...


Boots, the British cosmetics and skin-care company whose products are available in the U.S. at Target, is turning back the clock. A new line of apothecary-based products called Boots Original Formula are updated versions of classic formulas (think rose oil, geranium extract, patchouli, rosemary oil) and packaged in pretty glass bottles reminiscent of English herbal remedy stores in the 1800s. The collection includes cleansers, toners and moisturizers, plus an indulgent rose-lavender bath oil that looks heavenly (shown at left, $12.99 for 8.4 ounces).
