Although not marked down online, I noticed that all the
Nate Berkus for Target office supply merchandise has been put on clearance at 30% off at my local store. That includes
this cute fabric wastebasket, which you can also use as a storage bin. As
I mentioned a couple of months ago, it sounds like the entire Nate Berkus line is being phased out of
Target, so get your hands on this stuff while you still can.

I'm extremely bummed that Berkus is being phased out. I've bought random furnishings from his line [snatched them on clearance] and they add a lot of bunch wherever they're used. I bet he continues to design for some firm, but a ten times the price.
Ann, I agree, and am really sad to see Nate go. You may be right that he moves on to design for someone else, but I'm wondering if he'll collaborate with another retailer. I think he had a line with Bed Bath and Beyond before joining Target, so maybe he'll be picked up by Macy's or a home store like West Elm?
Oddly enough, Mr. Berkus appeared (albeit very briefly) in a Target holiday promo spot just last month. I’ll keep my ears open for the lowdown on a possible NB resurrection.
JCH: omg, I was going to post the SAME thing! Nate showed up in one of the tv spots with Barbie and Legos around the Christmas tree, and I thought that seemed really odd given the fact his line is supposed to be phased out. Please DO keep us updated on anything you hear!
I’m already investigating, and you’ll be one of the first to hear if/when I do!
