Rodarte for Target now online...

The Rodarte for Target collection is now up and ready for ordering online... although the much talked-about skeleton sequined dress is nowhere to be seen. Unfortunately, I fear I am getting sick :-( and therefore won't be rushing out today to check out the collection in person in the store. But no matter, because from what I've seen online, the line seems very young & junior-y, too much so for my tastes.

PS: for an early review, check out Racked.com's take on Rodarte's line. Looks like my assumptions were correct :-)

Hang in there, I hope you're not sick for the holidays. If it's a cold, have you tried Zicam? It works for me.

PS I wanted the navy and white striped top and that is gone. I'll keep searching for spring nautical look.

It was out on the racks at my local Target yesterday. I didn't buy anything yet but my overall impression was, "MEEEEEEHHHH." Most of it looked really cheap. I was disappointed they didn't have the bow belts...will continue to look for them.

This store did have the sequined skeleton dress. It was IMO the best thing about the line. Very cute! But I'm 40 years old and wouldn't have anywhere to wear it. There was also a nice flower print tee. The navy and white striped tee was cute but you can find that sort of thing anywhere. The denim jacket was cute too.

Everything else was nothing to get excited about.

Thanks Sher :-)
I'm feeling much better today. I downed a bunch of Airborne and basically just was a couch potato yesterday, which helped a lot.

And I wanted the navy/white striped top too, but it's already sold out online. Oh well...

Thanks for the review, Becky. I feel the same: MEEEEEEEEEEEEH ;-)
And I don't think that seeing it in store will change my opinion.

Went to another Target today and saw more of the line. No bow belts but they had a lot more of the dresses and stuff.

I saw a lace print silky dress that's cute, a blue swiss dot dress that was nice for a younger girl, the lace cardis, and the leopard print coats. Of everything they had, the only item that fit or were of any use to me (i.e. didn't look like they were made for a teenager) was the leopard print coat. I loved it! Very nice vintage style. But it was 80 freakin' dollars. I'm not buying any clothing item at Target for $80. I'll wait for it to go on sale.
