Remember last year's Back-to-School TV ad from
Target featuring
the "Music Teacher" with his improv song "Denim"? Well this year, Target has brought Mr. Music Teacher back... only this time, he's singing about BTS shopping to the 80's tune "Word Up!" by

a Spanish version of "Music Teacher" that I believe uses the
Jackson 5 song "Blame it on the Boogie".

Last season's tune was pretty much Caribbean Queen by Billy Ocean - only about denim. I like the new nod to Cameo. Reminds of 6th/7th grade when my friend would NOT stop saying "Word up!" for weeks on end. That, and a Tracy Morgan moment on SNL
