* The jumpsuit shown here. I think there must be fit issues with it. Plus, it's made for tall gals, so most women will have to hem this to wear it.
* The outdoor blankets. I'm wondering whether folks expected this item to be softer; in reality, it feels like a heavy tablecloth.
* The outdoor string lights. I've seen many sets of these.
* Clothing in Plus Sizes. This is kind of to be expected as Plus Sizes were only available online, so shoppers were taking a risk by guessing at sizing as they could not try these on in store.
* Children's clothing, Again, probably returned due to fit issues.
* Nail files. I've seen countless of these things. I'm not sure if they've been returned, or Target just ordered too many of these and they didn't sell well.
Some people are addicted to love. Others are addicted to drugs. I'm addicted to Target. Seriously....

The Lilly Leftovers: What's Being Returned
Have any of you out there scored any returns from the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collab? Now that we're at the 2-week return window deadline, it looks like more and more items are trickling back into stores. Here's what I'm seeing the most of:

I am hoping to score the jumpsuit when it goes on clearance as it actually fit me pretty good (I'm 6 ft tall so you may be right about it being too long for most women).
I went today and asked at Guest Services about returns. They had a scarf and the cuff bracelet. Yeah! They also had both flip flops in a size 7. I was able to look at the carts that were go backs (like finding the pearl in the oyster). I located the Nosie Posie clutch; I was so excited!! There were several pairs of the pineapple sandals, hair ties, travel kits, various clothing and phone covers.
Here in Minnesota, I've also seen a lot of the Boom Boom jumpsuit, especially in plus sizes, the smaller sized toddler clothes, and the patio umbrellas, umbrella bases and hammock stands. Yes, the emery boards are everywhere! I've stalked returns at approximately 8 different Targets and I feel like I've seen most of the collection, when you combine all the stores together over the past two weeks. I've seen a lot of the cocktail glasses and tall drinking glasses too. What I've NEVER seen on the return shelves are the shift dresses (with the exception of a stray Giraffeeey),the inexpensive hair bands, the round basket, the foldable beach chairs, and the patterned plates (I only saw those on launch day, but didn't get them), and any of the totes (saw most of them on launch day though).
My best in-store "finds," post-launch day, were the mugs, giraffe bottle opener, Boom Boom pants in small, starfish sandals (one day, I came across 4 pairs in size 7, along with a size 7 pair of the Upstream espadrilles -- clearly, the result of the insane online glitches, which resulted in people placing multiple orders for the same item because the orders didn't appear to go through), and the Giraffing Me Crazy towel. Some stores seem to have more returns inventory than others, and it seems to have no correspondence to location, size of store, or initial inventory. Today, I saw a few items at one Target that I'd never seen before -- the floor pillow, the rectangular pillow, and at least 4 of the ceramic trays. I think that persistence (and luck) pays off. I've generally had luck with arriving at a store really early in the morning and scouring the Lilly areas (more so than asking at Guest Services at other times of the day, although I've done that too). However, the day I came across all the size 7 footwear, plus some size small clothes, it was during the noon hour. Go figure.
The only thing I kept from my online order was the eyelet swim coverup. All the other clothes I ordered ended up being the wrong size, so I returned them. In store (via returns) I've been able to score the shift dress in my size (a miracle!), the giraffe bottle opener, the blue tunic, and a set of the small patterned bowls (which I will be giving to mom for Mother's Day). At this point, I think I have everything I wanted, unless I find one of the tote bags or hats.
I returned a maxi dress in xxl...it was too large. I scored the round bowl at one Target. At anothe Target I saw the hamper, umbrella, a few dresses, jump suit, the large candle holder in white and hot pink, the small candle holders, and that's all I recall. I will look at other stores this week. We have about 10-12 stores in the Richmond, VA area and suburbs. Happy hunting.
Target has Buy one get one 50% off on apparel, shoes and accessories including LP if you can find anything.
I hadn't had any luck finding *anything* in stores (except string lights, nail files, and hammock stands but no hammocks) until yesterday. Went to a different store and found exactly the things you mentioned. I grabbed a pair of the flip flops (I'm usually an 8.5 or 9, they were a size 10 and looked small, and fit!) Waiting and hoping other things get returned as well.
Went to a Target on my way to work this morning...lol. I found 2 of the gold candle holders. They had the string lights at this location, the small candle holders, the large white candle holders and the white ceramic stand (not sure what to call it). Threshold has one that is similar. I plan to go to another one after work and hit up 2 more tomorrow.
The Target closest to my house still has nothing but nail files and string lights - I can't believe it. In other stores, I've noticed generally the same things (jumpsuits, childrens and plus size) but a few more different things have been coming back - I've been seeing a lot more home things, and yesterday I found a pair of espadrilles in one store in a 10 (way too big on me), and the ruffled flounce dress in a M. Still hoping I'll luck out somehow and find the espadrilles in my size, a scarf, and the mugs!
A friend of mine who works at a local Target said people (mostly women) have been coming in and leaving phone numbers to call them when Lily items are returned.
Okay. I haven't been seeing too many returns overall in the L.A. area. Manhattan Beach has had the most clothing by far - jumpsuits and flounce dresses in all sizes. I saw an umbrella at Rodeo/La Cienega and a square floor pillow in Culver City (some towels there too). Maybe wine tags here and there and hurricane lamps. But, overall, it's still pretty thin. I just wanted to see either embroidered clutch somewhere in person - but I don't think that's happening anytime soon. I suspect there will be some items, especially from the online section, I will simply never see.
Music: I still haven't seen any bags or hats. Would love to score a tote or fedora, but I agree: the returns have slowed down this week.
