People are treating their bedding like their wardrobe by choosing neutral bedspreads and adding colorful accents each season, says Joshua Thomas, spokesman for Target stores in Minneapolis.
“By picking a neutral tone you are able to accentuate with a throw or a pillow or a duvet. It’s how you think about building a wardrobe to last by starting with black and then adding a pop of color with a scarf or (other accessories),” Thomas says.
At Target, crimson red, burnt orange, blue and plaid are all chic this season, says Thomas.
