Double-Take: Steve Madden vs. Mossimo

It's time for another double-take, where we take one item from Tar-shay and match it up against a lookalike - yet pricier - designer piece. And thanks to reader "Mag" who sent me this tip! These colorful slides are almost identical, with bright-beaded straps and a nude toe ring. But one of them is by Steve Madden (at Nordstrom) and will set you back $79.95, whereas the other is by Mossimo (at Target) and costs just $27.99. Which is which?     The tag probably gave it away, but the slide on the bottom is the pricier one from Steve Madden, and the one on the top is the wallet-friendly option from Mossimo at Target.

    I bought these when I saw them in my Target about a month ago. They are so cute and the pom poms are very on trend!
