Too late for Halloween...

The Rodarte for Target Go International collection won't hit stores until Dec. 20th. That makes this black sequin-embellished mini-dress - with an image of a ribcage printed on the front - too late to use as your Halloween costume. But if you're so inclined, I guess you could still wear it to a Holiday party or on New Year's Eve.

Besides posting this preview picture, Nitrolicious also reports that a Target spokesperson has described the collection as “very feminine, yet very modern and incorporates a rich mix of patterns and fabrications and everything from sequins and bows to faux fur”.

  1. why ribcage? cause people are into skulls? Maybe the younger girls will go for it.

  2. a rib cage is feminine??!?!

    That explains the superskinny models!

  3. I would've thought this was awesome when I was a 20-year-old goth.

I'm not either anymore. Saw the other pix on Nitrolicious though and I LOVE the leopard print jacket.

  4. I'm just puzzled about the timing of Rodarte's line. Late Dec. is probably the earliest that Target could produce it; otherwise they'd push it out sooner. But that's awfully late to buy festive party wear like this sequined dress and the bow-halter dress and leopard jacket (shown on Nitrolicious). If you recall, last year at around the same time (Dec. 26th) Target was debuting Thakoon's resort-wear line. I just don't get it....

  5. That looks awful! Are you sure it's a RODARTE? WOW. Have you seen the controversy about the Target Illegal Alien costume on the Internet and the News? http://www.ktla.com/news/landing/ktla-alien-costume-controversy,0,4261573.story
