Inflated Feith

For those of you who missed out on the much ballyhooed Tracy Feith for Target leather motorcycle jacket - which sold out online in a matter of days - there's still hope. Get out your wallet, though, because you're going to pay through the nose. The jacket (pictured) which retailed at Target for $140 has shown up on eBay in various sizes for between $190 and $375. My advice? If you really have your heart set on this piece, try to seek it out at a Target store that's "off the beaten path" where it might not have sold out yet. Or wait until the eBay feeding frenzy subsides and check back there in a few months to see if you can find one at a less-inflated price.

  1. I hate it when people do that! Why buy it if you aren't going to wear it?

  2. Unfortunately, Shelley, this seems to be a common practice these days. There are shady folks who buy up a bunch of "hot, trendy items" as soon as they're released in stores, then re-sell them on eBay for a profit.

  3. I see that all the time in ebay. Supply and demand makes a market......

  4. My take, get a great leather coat from Barney's Outlet store, don't pay that much for a Target Tracey Feith item. The quality for the price, is NOT there!
