Or just a piece of that is untrue?

I think that he may have chosen his words wisely, because they are a bit ambuguous and could mean many things.♥Beccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13235462858463166041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4634764039639011700.post-55364048764054302022010-02-07T22:58:59.424-08:002010-02-07T22:58:59.424-08:00What a crappy response... no matter who it was fro...What a crappy response... no matter who it was from.Kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17757386080908608976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4634764039639011700.post-22245034268289089702010-02-05T22:18:49.563-08:002010-02-05T22:18:49.563-08:00If it isn't true, they need to make their case...If it isn't true, they need to make their case to Consumerist pronto. I admire you for putting the spotlight on this. Its penny wise and POUND foolish if its true.
I wonder how much they paid Jean-Paul Gaultier to license his stuff to them?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05804362442451756367noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4634764039639011700.post-50261232024563961382010-02-05T17:04:38.047-08:002010-02-05T17:04:38.047-08:00hmm. we need to get to the bottom of this!!!hmm. we need to get to the bottom of this!!!drollgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17098844996589898590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4634764039639011700.post-40689248351718579432010-02-05T10:32:25.874-08:002010-02-05T10:32:25.874-08:00Its probably authentic...I agree with the previous...Its probably authentic...I agree with the previous commenter. Short, to the point with no room for any inference makes me think it came from the boss. Besides, his secretary or his public relations people would know that whatsoever is one word, not three. ;o)tooblonde1https://www.blogger.com/profile/04775388507606126069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4634764039639011700.post-224181802494627842010-02-05T09:55:46.837-08:002010-02-05T09:55:46.837-08:00The fact it is so short, and to the point, makes m...The fact it is so short, and to the point, makes me think it's the real thing. I worked as a corporate lawyer for many years, and my lawyer bosses would never say something so too the point. A businessman, absolutely.

Besides, why wouldn't it be authentic? Who would bother to spoof a response?

and there are no "weasel words" in there at all.

Of course, things can change in the corporate world pretty quickly, so while it's not true now, who knows about tomorrow. I think we made our point, though. A PR message would include some sort of a message saying, "Thanks for your concern." And probably a stat or two saying refuting the 8,000 demotion claim....if it's untrue. Or else, some reasoning behind the change.Jenny | The Balow Bunchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01973386026706449932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4634764039639011700.post-90625817171559126752010-02-05T09:00:26.047-08:002010-02-05T09:00:26.047-08:00Seems way to flip for a response from a CEO concer...Seems way to flip for a response from a CEO concerning a potentially damaging PR disaster.

To be honest, I hope it is true.Critifurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09141579638692458603noreply@blogger.com
