The Target price-jacking continues...

This eBay post post made me laugh, but it's not a joke; that's why I'm both linking to it and have posted a screen capture to prove it's for real.

I guess some people seem to think that the "Missoni Madness" is sure to catch on with ALL Target designer collabs. That's why this crazy seller is trying to sell the Josie Natori for Target PJ set (which retails for $34.99) for a whopping $115! Unbelievable.... even more so as this set isn't even sold out online and in stores (nor is it likely to be). A quick scan of this sellers eBay store shows many Missoni items (surprise, surprise!) also at jacked-up prices, like the glass votive holder (which retailed for about $10) at a highly inflated buy-it-now price of $45. Disgusting!

Clearly someone who would lose the "Showcase Showdown" on "The Price Is Right."

Although, I didn't check to see if this eBay seller is one who dwells in California and has therefore had their economic sensibility destroyed by the ridiculous cost of living out here. When you become convinced you should pay close to $1 million (even now) for a junky 1200 sq. foot 2 bed 1 bath tear-down just because it's in West L.A. - you lose perspective! Perhaps they're hoping to sell to that person...

And Missoni is on clearance already at my local Targets! True, not much left, but so funny that some of the stuff on clearance is still crazy high on ebay.

Oh dear. People need to shop around before going to ebay. I found a pair of the Missoni zig-zag rainboots on the clearance rack at my local Target yesterday for $17. I didn't buy them the first time around but I sure grabbed them this time. I needed some new rainboots and these fit the bill. Their regular ones are $32.
